If someone says “High Church,” what comes to mind? How about “Tent Revival” or “Itinerant Preacher,” or maybe just “Sunday-go-to-meeting-finest?” We might not immediately think of a relaxed place where we are free to think, doubt, mess up, and try again. This Sunday, our visiting minister Rev. Jenny Peek joins us and brings us news of dismantling the imperialist church. What’s that? Well, it could look like high church, or a tent revival. It probably does not resemble a place where we can celebrate out bloopers.
