As we consider our attachments to the past and our fears for the future, we can learn to let things go by asking ourselves one simple question about our belongings, “Do they spark joy?”
This is the premise of the remarkable, best-selling book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Condo. Her ideas can be implemented to help us live with greater appreciation, peace and presence as we transform our living environments into joy filled spaces.
As Unitarian Universalists, we have a proud tradition of responding to the imperatives of love and justice to work with those of us who are marginalized and oppressed in society and the world. Unitarian Universalists covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person; justice, equality and compassion in human relations; and acceptance of one another.
