The Spiritual Practice in Palliative Care – 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 1, 2024

Our first principle of Unitarian Universalism is affirming and promoting the inherent worth and dignity of every person and the seventh principle is affirming and promoting respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. These two principles closely align with the basic philosophy of health care. Join us this Sunday as Dr. Daniel Preucil shares his experiences as a palliative care physician.

Worship Associate is Don Morishita

Our service Sunday will be both in person at our location 160 9th Avenue East in Twin Falls as well as on ZOOM beginning at 10:30 AM Mountain Time.

Closing the Gap Between Action and Beliefs –10:30 a.m. Sunday,November 24, 2024

People gather in religious or spiritual communities for many reasons. Among these are a desire for community, connecting with something greater than oneself, or to join others in social justice. All of these are powerful reasons to regularly gather. This Sunday, Rev. Jenny Peek will share her metaphor of ‘the theology wheel.’ This wheel is a tool for exploring aspects of personal theology, practicing its application in real world circumstances, and closing any personal gap we feel between what we think/believe–and how we choose to be in the world.

Jen Okelberry will be the Worship Associate

Holding Broken Pieces of the World –10:30 a.m Sunday, November 10, 2024

As we hold the broken pieces of our world, we must ask what can be repaired?  What should be repaired? Are there things that it’s time to let go of rather than repair?  These weeks and months following an historic election invite us into new ways of moving in the world as we pick up the pieces and create the world we want to live in.

Jeannine Robinett will be here in person for this presentation.

Don Morishita is the Worship Associate
