The Ancient Art of Singing Bowls Sunday June 14, 2026

Join Lejla Becirovic for an immersive experience of sound, vibration, and reflection through the ancient art of singing bowls. Used for centuries in meditation and contemplative practices, singing bowls create resonant tones that invite relaxation, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with the present moment. Singing bowls are commonly used in meditation and sound-based wellness practices because of their rich, sustained vibrations.

Through the gentle harmonics of crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, participants will be guided into a space of calm awareness, where sound becomes a pathway to inner stillness. Whether you are new to sound meditation or have an established practice, this experience offers an opportunity to pause, listen, and reconnect with yourself.

The First Duty Truth — 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 7th, 2026

“The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth, whether it’s scientific truth, or historical truth, or personal truth” Jean-Luc Picard

Whether you’re a diehard fan or someone familiar with the franchise, there’s no doubt that Gene Roddenberry, American television screenwriter and producer, singlehandedly changed science fiction and the world of television forever when Star Trek: The Original Series premiered in 1966. Between its storylines, worldbuilding, and characters, plenty of memorable quotes have been spoken over the years. Picard’s quote above is not just an excellent testament to the character but also to the franchise as a whole.
