November 15: “Healing” (Online Service)

Presenter: Patricia Heeb
(Member: Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship)

It’s been a hard year for all of us with pandemic fears and grief, social upheaval, political destruction, hurricanes, fires, and floods. We are weary to the bone, in need of healing. In this service we turn to Leonard Cohen’s song “Come Healing” which offers a balm for our weary hearts and souls.

Please join us online at 10:30 AM Mountain Time.

Unitarian Universalism honors the differing paths we each travel. Our congregations are places where we celebrate, support, and challenge one another as we continue on our spiritual journeys. As UUs, we covenant to affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person; justice, equality and compassion in human relations; and acceptance of one another.

September 6: “The Practice of Being Human” (Online Service)

Presenter: Rev. Monica Dobbins

Life these days is overwhelming, with a global pandemic upending normal routines and American democracy threatened like never before. People with shallow roots can be swept up in the panic of uncertainty. Only by developing our inner lives through spiritual practice will we have the depth of character to withstand the changing tides.

After the program stick around to join the “breakout rooms” for informal discussion and social gathering with other attendees.
